When getting connected, I get the error message "Failed to capture the screen".

 

 

Follow the steps below to solve this problem. 

 ① Press the START button. 

     As shown below, make sure to check on the box "Do not show again" and press START when the pop-up message shows up on the mobile device.

② Install the engine.


Mobizen Mirroring engine allows the screen capturing and control from PC to mobile device.

Except a few specific device, to mirror and record the engine must be installed.

③ Connect via USB.

In case the device cannot grant screen capturing permission, Booster mode must be enabled to view and control the device. Booster mode is enabled when the device is connected to the PC via USB cable.

  1. Enabling USB debugging. Go to SETTINGS > DEVELOPER OPTIONS > check USB debugging.



    *Tab [Build No.] option 7 to 8 times continuously until the message "You are now a developer" is shown.

  2. Connecting with Mobizen Mirroring and installing the Unified driver. Connect the PC and smartphone with USB cable, launch Mobizen Mirroring and login to get connected. During the connection process, you will be prompted to (1) install the Unified driver and (2) Installation agreement window.

  3. Allow USB debugging. In case USB debugging permission window pops up on the smartphone, make sure to check on "Always allow from this computer" and wait to be connected.




  4. Enable Booster mode. Once the device is connected, the notification bar will indicate if the Booster mode has been enable.
